The Opportunity:

As a ServiceNow HR Administrator at Avantor, you will play a crucial role in advancing our HR digital transformation initiatives. Reporting into the HR Transformation team and collaborating closely with the HR Technology team, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, testing, and optimizing the ServiceNow HR Service Delivery platform.
This role is instrumental in enhancing employee experiences through streamlined processes and efficient service management solutions. Your expertise will contribute significantly to realizing our strategic goals by ensuring a successful roll-out of our HR Service Delivery platform. You will be at the forefront of implementing cutting-edge HR technology solutions that enhance operational efficiencies and employee satisfaction. Your contributions will directly impact the success of the HR Transformation objectives, aligning HR technologies with business goals to foster a high-performance culture.

This is a full-time, remote position.

What we're looking for

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent related experience.

Experience:

Experience with Workday HCM is highly desirable.

Previous involvement in HR digital transformation projects.

Strong understanding of HR processes and data.

At least 3 years of experience with the ServiceNow tool

Experience with Washington DC release of ServiceNow and expert knowledge of Vancouver release

Familiarity with Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall project management methodologies

Advanced Scripting/ Reporting and other classes area highly recommended

Ability to communicate to all levels of end users, IS and Management staff

2+ years of IT experience in information technology with a focus on IT application operations in a large scale, complex environment

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in ServiceNow.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Certifications in ServiceNow System Administration, ServiceNow Implementation Specialist, or similar.

Experience integrating ServiceNow with other HR technologies like Workday HCM.

Knowledge:

Experience working in a large-scale organization with complex IT infrastructure. diverse users.

Familiar with Workday and integrations with internal systems, including ServiceNow, Microsoft and external vendors.

Skills:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with various business partners.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret ServiceNow data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize platform operations.

Initiative: take on big ideas and make them happen - ability to formulate a design for an intuitive portal and to build functionality which leads to high adoption of self service.

Innovative: able to create many options to solve issues and choose the best option which results in the desired results.

Abilities:

Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute a strategic vision for the HR ServiceNow ecosystem to enable employee self-service aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with HR, finance, IT, and other departments to achieve objectives and initiatives.

Adaptability and Flexibility: Willingness and ability to adapt to changing regulations, technologies, and business needs in a dynamic environment.

How you will thrive and create an impact

Designing, developing, building, and customizing applications or providing support responsibilities to end-users of the ServiceNow software.

Administrating the workflows on the software, implementing new systems or add-ons, helping with problem resolution, and testing systems for efficiency.
