As an Architect for the Document Management team, you will provide architectural guidelines, standards, and innovations for document management technology solutions that achieve enterprise and business initiatives. You will help shape and enhance our advanced tech stack by anticipating future business challenges, and act as an advocate for driving change that will contribute to future success of the company. As part of a collaborative team, you will work with IT and Business partners, Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Enterprise Project Management, and Vendor Management to promote the effective use of technology solutions and lead the team towards adopting best practices.

Candidates located in Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota are strongly preferred.

As an Architect - Document Management Systems, you will:

Develops the applications architecture and blueprints for the Document Management platforms, such as Nautilus/OnBase, Box and OneSpan, including guiding solution vision and strategy by providing a breakdown of complex projects, applications, and systems.
Create and document all technical architecture design and maintain the architecture road map for the line of business.
Provide designs and estimates for projects and evaluate incoming work requests to provide assessments of feasibility, solution development, sizing, and prioritization.
Collaborate with lines of business on gathering business information and technical architecture requirements to create a product road map. Offering technical guidance while they discuss and decide on product changes and identifying organizational and financial impacts of the application architecture.
Conducts reviews and analysis of needs and goals for the development and implementation of applications - including any redesign, replacement, or redevelopment efforts.
Understand, advocate, and augment the principles of information technology strategies and current Associated Bank standards and processes.
Consult with infrastructure, security, and application development projects to fit systems to architecture and identify when it is necessary to modify the technical architecture to accommodate project needs.
Guide/mentor PM's, BA's, SA's on current technologies used, etc.
Analyze technology industry and market trends, key organizational strategies, business drivers, and business objectives to determine potential impact upon the line of business and recommend technology strategies that will contribute to the future success of the company.
anticipate future business challenges by providing innovative technology solutions and options to both IT and line of business leadership.
Analyze current information technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement.

Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering. Required

Experience
3-5 years Information Technology with demonstrated architect business & technology solutions to business problems involving one or more business areas with particular experience in the finance & banking industry. Required
5-7 years Information Technology in the multiple IT disciplines with strong emphasis in solution development. Preferred
Understanding of Document Management software and/or infrastructure. Preferred
DevOps, development, and/or programming experience. Preferred
Experience in Agile project methodology. Preferred
