Job Summary:

The National Manager of Clinical Sleep (NMCS) is responsible for providing support to the US Field Sales Organization as the subject matter expert for ZOLL Itamar sleep technology. The position is responsible for supporting the US Clinical Sales Specialists (CSS) as the PAT technology expert, a resource for escalation of complex clinical and technical needs and supporting the Director of Clinical Programs in internal education and team effectiveness.

Essential Functions:

Sales & Marketing Support

Serve as the technical expert working alongside the local CSS team to provide support to physicians and office staff of all targeted customers who need a deeper education of the PAT technology.

Deliver customer training and effectively transfer knowledge to enable healthcare workers to use the WatchPAT, CloudPAT and zzzPAT effectively and independently.

Support the field on key technology and training strategies to include the successful rollout of new products.

Support US field as the expert for ongoing strong account implementations.

Stay abreast of current trends and be the "subject matter expert" to the field sales team

Serve as a successful and effective Itamar representative to physicians and support staff regarding Itamar products, service and support.

Support the field sales team's existing and potential clients (e.g., physicians, physician office groups at hospitals) by traveling, as needed, to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and to discuss and demonstrate how Itamar Medical's products can help them to achieve their goals.

Support CSS team with key potential customer product evaluations and demonstrations.

Respond to customer needs and complaints with a sense of urgency regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g., sales, marketing, technical support) to develop optimal solutions.

Give clinical presentations and provide support at trade shows, seminars and/or outside symposiums.

Understand national, regional and territory sales objectives of the field sales organization

Communicate daily with Itamar colleagues any new developments in the marketplace (competitive, product, customer, training needs, needs, wants, wins/losses, etc...)

Reporting and Administration:

Communicate all needs and potential customer conflicts to the Director of Clinical Programs

Communicate to Area Business Directors which facilities/physicians/staff need new and/or additional training and/or tech support.

Submit all required reports on a timely basis.

Other duties as assigned by management.

Required/Preferred Education and Experience:

BA/BS Degree in Cardiovascular, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Exercise Physiology or Nursing required

Completion of an accredited program/degree in respiratory care preferred

Experience working with VA hospitals and the VA System and or large managed care organizations (i.e., Kaiser) helpful.

Minimum of (5) years' work experience in clinical medical field as an RPSGT preferred

Hospital/clinic-based experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Own and maintain a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist certification with the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists

Successful proven track record assignments and providing clinical and relationship management support to physicians and staff.

Excellent organization and time-management skills.

Outstanding ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
