Job Description

As a Solar Electrician, your primary responsibilities will include using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment to perform a variety of tasks. You’ll be able to bend, thread, and install rigid type conduits ranging from ½" to 4". You will be expected to read and interpret electrical single line diagrams as well as construction sets to properly identify a scope of work. Your tasks will also involve the installation of the electrical portion of PV solar systems, ensuring all electrical work is of good workmanship and compliant with current NEC and other relevant local codes. You’ll be required to run solar DC/AC circuits to array fields in a clean workmanlike manner. Additionally, you will install back-up battery systems, EV chargers, and perform residential service upgrades and repairs. You will also be tasked with troubleshooting system problems and resolving electrical issues. A key part of your role will be maintaining high-quality control of tools, vehicles, and materials needed for job responsibilities. Finally, you will be responsible for keeping accurate records of material used and proper documentation on work orders relating to installations and maintaining compliance with all PPE and safety regulations per OSHA standards.
