Job Description

Join our team as a Warehouse Worker where you will be responsible for various tasks including cleaning containers, operating a forklift, and repairing large plastic containers. Your primary responsibilities will involve handling containers and racks that were previously used for automotive parts. These containers arrive dirty, are cleaned, and then dispatched. Key tasks include loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and scanning totes using a washing machine, processing incoming totes and racks by removing manufacturer tags, and repairing containers using hand drills and screwdrivers. Additionally, you will operate a forklift to load and unload trucks, ensuring the correct containers are being shipped.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in EAST MOLINE, Illinois.

Work Environment

You will be working in a new warehouse built in 2012. The environment is fast-paced, maintained at 50+ degrees in winter and warmer in summer. The facility houses 60 employees and 4 supervisors, with 15-25 employees per shift.
