This is a full time Non-Exempt Position

General

GBS currently has an opening for a full time CMS, Business Analyst in our Decatur City Center office to join the Agris Support group. This group assists location personnel in our network of elevators with established policies and procedures to ensure transactions are recorded in our accounting system consistently, accurately, and timely. This support is frequently handled by email, Microsoft Teams and telephone. Support will also take the form of defining systematic changes to address new initiatives.

Experience

+ Associates/Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, or Information Technology is required

+ Minimum of 3-5 years of ADM experience or equivalent is necessary

+ Ability to write simple to moderately complex SQL statements

+ Agris application knowledge is desirable

+ Sharepoint application knowledge is desirable

+ Grain Settlement/Trading Application knowledge

Job Requirements

+ Strong analytical abilities, initiative, and problem solving skills are necessary to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment

+ A proven track record of being dependable, reliable, meeting strict deadlines, and a strong desire to help others

+ Effective oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to interface with various levels of office and customer clients

+ Good organizational skills with the ability to function in a team environment

+ Ability to work independently with given project deadlines and time constraints while also being able to interface with all areas of the Business and I.T. teams when required

+ Proficient with reporting and data query tools

+ Accounting knowledge a plus

+ Work occasional weekends as needed for system upgrades

+ Travel may be required

Responsibilities

+ Consult application support personnel as needed when researching and finding the preferred solution

+ Identify solutions that will improve business efficiencies

+ Analyze and document project requirements

+ Test and review the results of programming changes and enhancements to ensure the desired results are achieved.

+ Conduct deeper root cause analysis on reporting issues or transactional inquiries from locations

+ Assist in implementing both small and large scale IT solutions

+ Assist users by using advanced skills/knowledge to resolve complex and less routine problems
