Overview

This position will be focusing upon our ability to work toward and achieve ISO 9001 certification for our Depot and warehouse operations.
Expected pay for this position is $45.15 - $59.82/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: The District Manager of Healthcare Technology Management is responsible for the oversight of one or more clinical site's medical equipment management programs for both internal and external clients. Manages a complex customer service area through leadership & development of a team of biomedical, imaging, electromechanical and other field services technicians who install, service and support biomedical & imaging equipment and clients within the assigned district. The District Manager sits on the Environment of Care/Safety committee(s) and other councils and is accountable for maintaining a high level of knowledge of and assures compliance to applicable codes and regulations regarding medical equipment. Provides expertise, guidance and reporting in the areas of equipment incident investigations and manufacturer recalls and alerts. In doing so, sets work priorities, coordinates staffing models, monitors screening procedure, and maintains compliance with budget guidelines. The District Manager is responsible for reporting problems as it relates to patient care equipment to local facility management and/or the Director of Healthcare Technology Management. Helps support and implement at the local level the business strategies and tactical initiatives as developed by the Director of Healthcare Technology Management and the Director of Clinical Engineering.
Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Associates Biomed, Healthcare, Technology, or Business
Other Licenses/Certifications: Certificate in Management and Leadership from an accredited college or university within 18 months of hire
Experience: 5 years of biomedical or healthcare experience
Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Technology or Biomedical Equipment or Electronics Technology, or military electronics training in related field. Experience: 5 years of progressively more responsible experience in the supervision or management of medium to large Healthcare technology service or related field.
