Job Description

Staffmark needs a Material Handler / Forklift Operator position filled in Melrose Park, IL Start a new and exciting career today! We are offering 1st shift hours with to get you in a better work-life balance routine because life shouldn't be all work and no play.

Pay | $18 per hour
Schedule | Tuesday - Saturday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Requirements | 1-2 years of forklift experience in a warehouse environment

Material Handler / Forklift Operator daily tasks:
Perform manual labor tasks such as consolidating freight, picking, counting cargo, and hand-staging goods. Once trained and certified, operate a forklift, and use manual equipment like hand trucks or pallet jacks. Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, tools, equipment, and products. Prepare and assemble orders and move materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other locations. Complete and verify forms, documents, and labels to ensure inventory accuracy, and monitor and track the successful receiving and delivery of goods.
