Job Description

Our injection molding process serves a broad spectrum of industries, delivering parts to clients in sectors including aerospace, defense, agriculture, commercial, and communications.
We are currently looking to fill the role of a Material Handler / Apprentice Set-up Technician to join our team. Moldtronics uses a large variety of different materials. This is a real custom molding shop where troubleshooting skills are pushed to the limit. Mold changes are preformed daily and “it’s not my job” does not exist with us, we are a team and are expected to help and look out for each other. We run automatic, semi auto operator, non-insert and insert jobs. Molds are made and maintained in house. We are a rapidly growing company with a big future ahead of us. We will teach you how:
Run a molding machine as an operator.
Hang & set up molds.
Fill hoppers / dryers.
Separate runners.
Set-up injection molds and the auxiliary equipment required.
Process all types of resins including many engineering grade resins.
Troubleshoot equipment, molding processes and cycles.
Accurately complete all required paperwork.
Work closely with the team (operators, quality department, and management).
Keep molding machines / equipment / area clean and organized.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintain safe work area in neat and orderly manner.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
Must be able to lift, carry, pull, push up to 75 pounds.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
A successful candidate must complete a background check.
