Position: Temporary Community Outreach Recruitment Specialist
Hours: This is a part-time position (starting at 20 hours per week with the opportunity for full-time hours, M-F, flexible & hybrid hours)
Pay: $25-30 per hour. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Campus: Chicago
Approximate start date: ASAP
Approximate end date: 05/20/25

Northwestern University is seeking a temporary Community Outreach Recruitment Specialist for the Chicago campus. There is a possibility for this temporary position to be considered for a permanent opportunity with the department based on performance and departmental needs.

Temporary Job Description:
As the liaison between our organization and the community, you'll build trust with key stakeholders and promote awareness of our clinical trials at events, meetings and clinics. Work with internal teams to create recruitment strategies for different demographics, and partner with businesses, and organizations to expand our reach to actively enroll patients into clinical trials. By connecting with existing networks and forming new relationships, you'll help us engage more effectively with the community and help enlist participants into clinical trials.
Minimum Qualifications:
HS Diploma or Equivalent
Sales Experience
Recruitment Experience
Customer Service Skills
Willing to travel to external clients in the Chicagoland Area
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
Patient Care Experience
Medical background, Comfortable with medical terminology
Spanish speaking is preferred
