Responsibilities
Sentinel is seeking an IT Intern to join us and assist with installing IT infrastructure at one of our largest Chicago area partners. This role will draw on your networking knowledge and skills. You can expect to be running cabling, racking and stacking hardware and additional hands-on experience with network and system devices. This is a contract opportunity requiring work and travel throughout the City of Chicago.
Qualifications
Ability to display an understanding of basic network and systems principles.
Ability to take direction and complete tasks under minimum supervision
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend and squat over an 8 hour work day
The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
A valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Must demonstrate a "can-do" attitude
