Job Description
Wolters Kluwer United States, Inc. seeks Software Quality Assurance Analyst III in Riverwoods, IL.
- Develop and establish quality assurance measures and testing standards for new applications, products, and enhancements to existing applications throughout their development/product lifecycles.
- Create and execute test plans and scripts that will determine optimal application performance according to specifications.
- Create and execute Automation test framework to increase testing effectiveness and reduce time to deliver quality product.
- Ensure that testing activities allow applications to meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify existing or potential issues.
- Test any new software to ensure integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and technical specifications.
- Analyze formal test results in order to discover and report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws.
Telecommuting permitted
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field plus 5 years of related experience. Employer will accept three-year bachelor’s degree. Additionally, this position requires any amount of experience in each of the following:
- Overseeing the design, development, and implementation of quality assurance standards for software testing;
- Direct experience as a senior tester for major application integration or major application product release;
- ERP application testing and its integration;
- API testing and middleware testing and extensive experience with core software applications, including Microsoft web and client or server applications;
- Ad hoc query programs including Microsoft SQL Server and automated testing tools including TOSCA and Selenium; and
- Data analysis and data verification.
