Duties and Responsibilities 
 Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for assistance of a clinical research project to include, but not limited, to:

 


-Screen for eligible participants daily via remote access

-Recruit and enroll research participants (in-person)

-Coordinate data collection with nurses and team members

-Collect biological samples in an in-patient setting (NICU)

-Perform hands-on study assessments on preterm infants and infant feeding in an in-patient setting (NICU) and record findings

-Perform data entry

-Prepare, organize, and update relevant study materials and data records

-Attend periodic meetings with researcher and team
-Perform other duties as assigned

 

Special Instructions

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience 
 Bachelor's degree and at least one year of nursing experience required. Must have current RN licensure in the State of Illinois.

Is comfortable working with parents, preterm infants, and clinical staff

Is available for morning data collection and occasional weekend recruitment

Demonstrates prompt and effective communication with PI, team members, and collaborators

Demonstrates excellent communication skills

Demonstrates ability to work in a team environment
