Position Details:
This role is responsible for supporting sales incentive commission processing, reporting and case inquires for the North American Sales organization. The role works cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Human Resources/Payroll, Finance and Technology teams to accomplish its goals. This role is a part of Grainger's North American Sales Compensation team, which is the leader for sales commission policies and processes supporting approximately 3,000 team members for the US and Canada.

You Will:
Manage the monthly commission process for sales incentive eligible team members. This includes understanding and applying the commission plans and ensuring commission calculations comply with the plan rules.
Resolve case inquiries and be a trusted advisor to sales team members and leaders.
Be the trusted partner for all upstream and downstream operations.
Responsible for documenting new processes and updating existing documentation as processes evolve.
Involved in various sales commission work streams as needed (e.g., goal setting, sales compensation, sales reward/recognition programs, and new project initiatives).
Identify opportunities for improvement and coordinate the implementation of process improvements to support important programs. Provide input to the ongoing enhancement of tools to support processes.
Facilitate regular communication between Sales Operations and the field. Influence field action and adoption of new plans and programs.
Partner with various business functions to coordinate and complete work initiatives.
Compensation:
This position is salaried and will pay between $60,400. and $100,700. plus 5% bonus eligibility target. The range provided is a guideline and not a guarantee of compensation. Other factors that are involved in offer decisions include, and are not limited to: a candidate's experience, qualifications, geographical area, and internal equity of the team.
You Have:
Prior experience in sales, operations, finance, or analytical roles is highly preferred.
Experience with administering and supporting company programs.
Demonstrated ability to analyze, manipulate and work with large sets of data.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel with ability to transform data (i.e., Pivots, Vlookups, advanced formulas).
Detail orientated with ability to create standard work procedures.
Demonstrate project coordination/management skills.
Work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships.
Willingness to hold others accountable for deliverables.
Ability to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
College degree
