Job Description

We're seeking a Dispatcher for the 1st shift in Des Plaines, IL, with a leading company specializing in transportation and supply-chain solutions for national and multinational corporations.

Shift: Sunday to Wednesday, 6:00 am - 6:00 pm

Pay Rate: $20/hr

Responsibilities:

Dispatch, schedule, and track deliveries across Chicagoland and surrounding areas.
Coordinate with drivers for U.S. domestic shipment pickups and deliveries.
Perform data entry and provide customer service support.
Communicate effectively via email and verbally in English.
Utilize Microsoft, Outlook, Excel, and AS400 Warehouse Management system (or ability to learn).
Demonstrate basic math skills.

Requirements:

1-2 years of logistics and dispatching experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel; familiarity with AS400 or ability to learn.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Basic understanding of mathematical principles.
