Responsibilities

 

We currently have a great opportunity available for a Systems Manager. We currently have a great opportunity available for a Technical Alignment Manager (TAM). This position will lead and own all technical aspects of SAI's Software portfolio of products for cloud and on-premise deployments. This includes coordinating with cross-functional teams to oversee development, cybersecurity, design, testing, and release cadences.

The Technical Alignment Manager is required to maintain and expand working knowledge of SAI's software products and related technologies including the ability to work with Customers to communicate product design and answer detailed questions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the design, development, and delivery of SAI's Software updates and version releases.
2. Work with cross-functional business units to ensure customer qualification, installation and deployment of software portfolio.
3. Collaborate and interact within the department (Architecture/Development/Systems/Interface/Operations) to maintain functional and technical knowledge along with establish priorities, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
4. Manage technical aspects of software management process to deliver a final product that aligns with the architecture strategy and the business product line roadmap.
5. Coordinate product roadmap and alignment on product changes including release cadence, enhancements, and innovations.
6. Develop and maintain detailed functional and technical knowledge of SAI's Software portfolio.
7. Communicate with Customers including managing complex technical/IT discussions through calls, emails, presentations and documentation and drive critical issue escalations.
8. Assist in dashboard reporting and governance oversight for all Software products and implementations.
9. Coordinate the creation and on-going maintenance of technical procedures, policies, and manuals.
10. Other duties as assigned.
Travel Percentage: 10%

 


Qualifications

 

Bachelor's degree or 10+ years required experience in Laboratory medicine or IT products, which may include experience in the Armed Forces.
Must have 3+ years of leadership experience in managing and/or directing IT development teams.
Demonstrated experience leading application, network, and systems implementations.
Experience in working and communicating with customers, including ability to manage difficult customer interactions and escalations.
Partner with senior management to build effective strategies.
Excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking capabilities.
Ability to translate complex IT concepts to business stakeholders.
Experience with firewalls, infrastructure, networking.
Functional understanding of project management principles.
Experience with FDA or other regulated industry policies and guidelines is a plus.
Proficient in basic computer skills as well as proficient in Microsoft office suite
