Job Description
Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Inventory Clerk in the cosmetics industry, based in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. The primary focus of this role is to ensure accurate and efficient inventory management, including invoice checks and inventory movement monitoring.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records
- Check invoices against inventory records for accuracy
- Verify and update purchase orders in the system
- Maintain the smooth movement of inventory, including moving boxes along as necessary
- Regularly review and update the Point of Sale (POS) system to ensure all inventory is accurate
- Utilize asset inventory skills to manage and track all company assets
- Collaborate with various teams to resolve any inventory discrepancies
- Assist in regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy
- Use industry-specific software to enter purchase orders and manage inventory data. Requirements – Demonstrated experience in Asset Inventory management within the cosmetics industry.
- Proficiency in entering Purchase Orders and managing them efficiently.
- Strong knowledge of inventory systems and procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and related technologies.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Willingness to continue learning and improving skills related to job function.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records and provide timely reports.
