Job Description

Ecolab is looking for a Lead Business Analyst - Global SAP Financials to join the Global EBS (Enterprise Business Solutions) team and make an impact within Ecolab. Ecolab has implemented SAP in its largest markets and is committed to harmonizing its ERPs by deploying SAP in remaining markets and acquired businesses, as well as upgrade to S4/HANA in coming years. This person will lead development and deployment work related to the SAP financial modules and process design. This position provides exposure to senior leadership across Enterprise Technology Solutions (ETS) as well as finance leaders across multiple regions.

Location: This position is based in St. Paul, MN or Naperville, IL

What You Will Do:
Actively involved in the preparation, conception, realization, Go Live and Hypercare of Ecolab's SAP implementation projects including S4/HANA
Demonstrate the ability to plan, run, and manage workshops/meetings with our internal customers.
Providing a creative source of ideas/solutions to address solution gaps and issues
Get involved and ensure standard SAP solution usage and be able to provide workarounds based on business scenarios
Customize/Configure SAP landscape while developing complex requirements for process or system solutions within the business domain leveraging multiple business requirements gathering methodologies to identify business, functional, and non-functional requirements
Maintain expert product knowledge using an analytical approach to identifying opportunities for enhancements
Develop and execute plans and organize work to ensure efficient delivery of results to meet business expectations
Be part of new and upcoming enterprise level projects including new implementation and upgrading existing ones

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of professional work experience or no degree and 12 years combined education and equivalent work experience
3 years of recent SAP work experience
Experience on SAP FI including but not limited to FI-AR, FI-AP, GL, FI-AA, Profitability Analytics (CO-PA)
Experience working on Month/year end closing activities
Experience on configuration of SAP FI integration into commercial and supply chain areas
Experience creating financial reports for all the sub-modules for balance sheets and P&L statements from the SAP BI environment
Knowledge of Process/capability in Finance and ideally Commercial/Supply Chain Finance
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to travel (domestic and internationally) in the range of 25% of the time as well as work remotely with stakeholders in various international markets

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with connected systems like Onbase, Concur, Blackline, etc.
Development (ABAP) experience
Experience in Freight accounting and exposure to any TMS (Transportation management Solutions)
Working experience in internal and external tax software's like Vertex/ Thomson Reuters, etc.
Hands-on experience on migration of the financial data (master data & transactional data) into SAP systems using SAP BODS, LSMW, BDC
Experience in FSCM - Financial Supply Chain Management sub-modules. Collections Management, Dispute Management, Credit Management
Knowledge/Experience in S4/ HANA is preferred
