Summary / Role Purpose

We are a nimble, specialized and highly effective team looking for our next addition to strategize, evangelize, quarterback and deliver product sales in the US Central, Canada and LATAM regions!

The job is 100% remote with travel expectations as required to drive business.

The Senior Product Sales Manager isresponsiblefor directing and supporting collaborative sales efforts to grow one or more assigned product lines by creating strong partnerships with field sales teams and Channel partners. The SPSM is responsible for achieving a direct sales quota in that product line, as well as supporting overall product-line success, all within an overlay structure.

ThesuccessfulSenior Product Sales Manager will ensure the profitability and continued growth of a specific set of products for the organization by creating strong partnerships with field sales teams and Channel partners. They are excellent presenters that are good at identifying the customer need and developing effective value propositions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Performs product sales activities for new/renewal business forone or more assigned product lines to achieve or exceed assigned product and service revenue objectives.
Sells products/services through telephone as well as face-to-face contact.
Partners withfield and enterprise sales within Ansys and Channel partners, to collaboratively develop and execute strategies that drive product and service revenue as part of an overall accountstrategy.
Uncovers opportunities in current and new accounts for specific product or solution and hand over to direct sales team.
Facilitates communication with the sales and technical team with respect to updates onproduct capabilities, success stories and winning strategies.
Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current and prospectivecustomers to generate new business for the organization's products and services.
Participates in industry shows and conventions.
Creates advanced solutionpresentations to matchidentifiedcustomer needs using company's products & services. Identifies Ansys advantages andpositions Ansys' products and services as superior to competitive offerings.
Coordinates and organizes technical (ACE) support for demos,PoCs, support of evaluation,training etc.
Works with team members to develop clear and effective written proposals, quotations, andvalue propositions for current and prospective customers.
Provides client feedback to product development and marketing staff.

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience
Education & Years of Experience:Bachelor's degree in technical, engineering, business or related field with4+years sales or consulting experience in selling engineering/technologyapplications with a proven track record of successOR6+years sales or consulting experience in selling engineering/technologyapplications with a proven track record of success.
Ability to work cross-functionally with several teams (ACE, DEV, Marketing, PM etc.) and hierarchies within theorganization.
Works independently with limited managerial guidance
Knowledge and understanding of the product market position
Knowledge of sales fundamentals
Ability to foster collaboration & coordination with personnel distributed globally
Aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine appropriate solutions for customers.
Fluent in English and in the local language of the territory
Travel:up to 50%

Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Knowledge of company's products/services and pricing practices a plus.
Knowledge of engineering analysis andtechnology.
