Job Description
Standard & Poor’s Financial Services LLC seeks an Analyst, Review & Validation who will serve as a financial quantitative analyst and independently validate and test quantitative financial models and engines that are developed for S&P Global Ratings. Support the model validation process for the full life cycle of Global Ratings models. Enhance procedures for model validation to meet new standards. Review developmental evidence, conduct model replication and back-testing, and verify that the models being reviewed are appropriate implementations of the relevant Global Ratings Criteria. Develop analytical tools for model validation purposes to calculate statistical metrics to measure performance of credit ratings processes. Interact with internal stakeholders to gather model related information and clarify model related questions. Communicate findings identified in model validation and the recommendations for resolutions.
