Job Description
The Director, Sales position is a leadership role for a results-oriented individual who is driven to inspire a high-performing, dynamic, growth-oriented culture. The Director-Sales will be a member of the Management team reporting directly to the VP of Sales and will be responsible for strategic sales leadership with an emphasis on driving growth in our core business.

Responsibilities & Duties
Manage and cultivate relationships with key OEM accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Lead a team responsible for day-to-day operations, including forecasting, monitoring shipments, and pricing strategies.
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and logistics teams to meet customer demands and achieve sales targets.
Analyze market trends and customer data to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
Act as the primary point of contact for escalated issues, effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels, including executives up to the President/CEO.
Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth, maximize profitability, and maintain competitive advantage in the OEM market.
Stay informed about industry developments, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to adapt strategies accordingly.
Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on key performance metrics, market insights, and customer feedback.
Provide strategic direction and development for the sales team, setting clear objectives and targets aligned with company goals.
Identify staffing and leadership needs within the sales department, including recruitment, training, and mentoring of team members.
Develop and execute succession planning strategies to ensure continuity and effectiveness in leadership roles.
Implement performance management systems and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to sales representatives to drive individual and team performance.
Oversee compensation plans and incentives to motivate sales team members and reward top performers appropriately.
Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, product development, and operations to align sales efforts with overall business strategies.
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales organization.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
10+ years of experience in OEM account management, preferably in the Pool Pump market.
Proven track record of successfully managing large OEM accounts and leading cross-functional teams.
