Job Description
Develop business development strategies to identify, evaluate, organize, and maintain pivotal business relationships in the North American region for Zifo. Identify and nurture relationships with IT and Business stakeholders in the customer environment. Identify potential opportunities for collaborations with the customers to address their business needs and provide solutions to their business problems by offering Zifo’s services. Actively work on expanding the footprint of the services offered by Zifo for existing customers. Conduct steering committee meetings with customers’ senior leadership teams to review the engagement, provide updates, identify challenges, unmet needs, and opportunities for collaborations. Responsible for risk assessment and management, and conflict management. Meet with stakeholders to understand capability needs, bottlenecks and business priorities. Discuss with internal teams to gain insights, develop solution approach, execution methodology and present the proposal to the customer. Collaborate with Scientific Business Consultants to develop high level plan for implementing the roadmap strategy. Work with big Pharma, engage at VP Level, maintain connections at executive levels. Provide guidance for holistic marketing activities. Establish partnerships/networks that drive significant contributions to Zifo’s revenue and customer growth. Engage with industry experts and leaders to understand industry focus and direction for the future. Understand industry regulations and compliance requirements (21 CFR Part 11) from regulatory agencies related to the business activities. Review and understand vendors and their solution offerings. Develop comparative methodologies (e.g., Quadrant Maps) highlighting different vendor positioning in the market. Participate and collaborate at scientific conferences and industry events. Publish white papers, knowledge articles. Conduct periodic meetings with customer Leads, vendor partners. Identify and nurture partnership and membership opportunities. Develop responses and proposals to Zifo customer requests. Ensure contractual duties for the engagement. Train and mentor team members and provide exciting opportunities to grow. Telecommuting is allowed one day per week. Travel and work at client sites as assigned. Multiple Positions Available.
Job Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Life Sciences, Biopharma, Chemical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related role.
Alternatively, the employer would accept a Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biopharma, Chemical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related role.
Requires three (3) years of experience in the following:
- Research & Development, clinical and manufacturing areas of the pharmaceutical industry.
- Request for Information and Request for Proposal, and customer success management in life science or pharmaceutical industry.
- Requirement and market analysis.
Requires two (2) years of experience in the following:
- Project management, consulting, solution implementation and business development.
- Database proficiency: Oracle, or SQL Server.
- Operating System: Unix or
- Software Development Process: Waterfall and Agile.
- Regulatory knowledge on 21 CFR part 11, part 58 (GLP), 210 and 211 (GMP), and 820 (Quality System Regulations).
- Office Productivity Tools: MS Project, VISIO, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or MS SharePoint.
- At least two (2) of the following tools: EDC systems, CTMS systems, data warehousing tools, LIMS systems, ELN platforms, research informatics platforms, database tools, reporting platforms, or Analytical Instruments utilized in manufacturing and quality control laboratories.
Telecommuting is allowed one day per week. Travel and work at client sites as assigned.
40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm.
