We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Advocate to join our team at Dickinson Hall, Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Senior Center. As the Senior Advocate for Dickinson Hall, you will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing the lives of older adults within our community.

Examples of Duties
- Assist low-income seniors in accessing financial assistance programs
- Conduct home, hospital and nursing home visits for assessment purposes and provide additional support and referrals, as needed
- Recommend programs and services to the Senior Resources Manager based on the observations and interactions with the members
- Increase visibility and awareness of Dickinson Hall’s social services to agencies that interact with the senior population in Lake Forest and Lake Bluff
- Assist older adults in understanding and enrolling in Medicare as a SHIP (Senior Health Insurance Program) counselor
