The Job at a Glance
Our Storage Specialist (internally known as Proud Organizer of Parts)isresponsible for optimizing workflows by ensuring inventory is in the right storage location, establishing forward location inventory levels andmaintaining forward replenishments.This specialistwill play a key role in maintaining the quality and accuracy of Parts Town's genuine OEM part inventory. Storage specialist will perform an essential function here at Parts Town making sure our inventory is stored in safe locations that promote operational efficiency.
A Typical Day
Assistin planning inventory storage andoptimizing DC picking and put away flows
Investigateinventory discrepancies, cycle count,and reconcile inventory inaccuracies
Identifyand relocate unsafe products and move inventory tosafer andmore efficient locations
To Land This Opportunity
You possessstrong problem solving, attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
You're adaptable and thrive within quickly changing environments
You possess the ability to move around for long periods of time and consistently lift up to 30lbs unassisted
You have fantastic communication skills & you're proficient in English(verbal and written)
You are vehicle certified or willing to be certified
You are looking to work 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM (CST) Monday through Friday and are able to work Saturdays when needed
