Crisis Services Coordinator - PATH, School of Social WorkLocated Statewide in IL
Job Summary
Oversee the administrative operations of training that integrate skill-building and evidence informed practices into training and coaching to support crisis intervention services for enrolled Medicaid Behavioral Health Providers in Illinois. Responsible for ensuring integration of the Illinois Medicaid Crisis Assessment Tool (IM-CAT) across training and coaching efforts. Oversee the efficiency and effectiveness of teaching methods and is responsible for implementing the evaluation/Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process as it pertains to crisis related curriculum implementation. Fosters an environment of open communication and collaboration, building a learner-centered, community-focused team among PATH leadership and staff.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Trains and coaches Crisis Curriculum:
o Develop and coordinate crisis, clinical services training with Field and Systems of Care team.
o Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to design training curricula and identify/update skill competencies.
o Write program's annual and long-range plans with Assistant Director of Field Services and Associate Director of PATH.
o Assure appropriate integration of a multi-service, multi-disciplinary, and systems approach to training.
o Observe and provide feedback to specialists facilitating crisis-related curriculum to ensure quality delivery of training curriculum.
o Develop a network database of trauma-informed clinical services, specifically as it pertains to crisis response services in Illinois.
o Coordinate training tools, including schedules, trainer identification, visual aids, and data analysis.
o Provide technical support to implement new strategies, ensuring program model fidelity and use of evaluation feedback. Work in conjunction with PATH leadership and CQR team to integrate evaluation feedback into training and coaching initiatives.
o Foster an environment of open communication and collaboration among training facilitators.
o This position plays a crucial role in advancing the organization's commitment to delivering high-quality, trauma-informed clinical services through effective training and program development.
o Provide guidance and serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to PATH leadership and supervisory support to Specialist team to ensure fidelity to training curriculum and delivery of training using proven training platform skills.
• Trains and coaches providers on Mobile Crisis Response and associated curriculum and consults with system partners to ensure effective implementation of services, including the implementation of best practices in delivering crisis services.
o Provides training in order to model facilitation of content for new specialists as well as to introduce new training curriculum to providers.
o Provides direct field support and coaching to providers as necessary in order to meet provider need and demand.
o Work collaboratively with community agencies, organizations, and institutions, including Healthcare and Family Services (HFS), Office of Medicaid Innovation, UIUC-School of Social Work and PATH leadership.
o Establish and maintain contacts with community groups to address training needs.
o Collaborate with stakeholders such as community-based organizations, law enforcement, academics, and subject matter experts.
o Actively participate in forums, meetings, and strategy sessions with stakeholders.
• Monitors training and coaching delivery, including providing feedback and with integration of data in conjunction with the Assistant Director of Field Services and Associate Director of PATH.
• Other duties as assigned. Statewide travel.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in a human services field from an accredited college. Minimum three years of Behavioral Health Services (Clinical) supervisory/management experience. Experience providing crisis services and training development and implementation. Clinical licensure in Illinois, LPHA status pursuant to 89 ILAC 140.453. IM+CANS, IM-CAT certified trainer within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with integration of the IM-CAT to inform crisis safety planning and familiarity with utilizing IM-CAT to inform use of the IM+CANS in clinical practice.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and knowledge of community mental health services. Highly organized, ability to work independently.
Appointment Information
This is a 100% full-time Academic Professional position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after the search closes. Hybrid work may be considered for this position. The minimum salary range for this position is $80,000. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity. Sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position.
