Senior Associate Brand Manager- MW Ice Cream

The Senior Associate Brand Manager (Sr ABM) will be responsible for driving the Ice Cream Business Unit Value Creation plan as the brand owner of M&M brands and Pints Portfolio. The Sr. ABM will drive the brand strategy inclusive of forecasting and consumption analytics to achieve specific brand/cell objectives, including delivery of sales, MAC, and Household Penetration targets. This associate must generate and execute brand plans based on headspace opportunities and flywheel analysis to sequence short term and long-term choices that will shape core growth, innovation, activation, communication, and value leadership decisions.

What are we looking for?

  • 3+ years of previous Brand Marketing experience required, preferably within CPG industry.
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written, listening). This includes ability to give effective presentations to all levels of management.
  • Previous analytic skills. Must be comfortable mining and analyzing data (i.e. Nielsen) and forecasting.
  • Must be able to engage and guide media agency partners to drive execution and experience creating and evaluating creative content fit for today's digital consumer.
  • High levels of interpersonal skills, specifically around influencing without direct authority, resolving conflict, and creative problem solving.
  • Proficient in managing complex projects. Well organized, successful at prioritization, attentive to details, clear oral and written communicator.
  • Biased toward action. Takes initiative, entrepreneurial, can hit the ground running and move projects forward right from the start.
  • Resilient problem solver. Can build consensus even if all team members may not agree. Can find creative solutions and common ground to move key initiatives forward.



What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Develop and deploy brand strategy and growth opportunity recommendations leveraging customer, consumer, factory, and brand data.
  • Execute marketing plans - activation, renovation, and innovation - with excellence, including cross-functional collaboration to ensure quality and readiness of plans, tracking of performance in market, course-correction, and learnings to improve future performance. Leveraging S&OP to driven short term and long-term brand actions.
  • Analyze & review brand/cell performance, competitive dynamics, and category trends to offer recommendations to increase effectiveness of plans and execution.
  • Monitor brand expenditures and manage the advertising and consumer promotions budget.
  • Conduct post evaluation of activities, extracting insights to develop lessons learned and recommendations for future brand activity.
  • Develop & track growth levers through flywheel analysis (i.e. price-pack, reach+, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Strategic Demand Function (i.e. Strategic Revenue Mgmt., Customer Marketing) to monitor in year performance and engage Sales/ Key customer calls to represent our brands.
  • Participate actively in forecasting to understand brand and market trends and drive a quality demand call.
