Insurance Services Office, Inc. seeks Software Engineer II in Burr Ridge, IL
Duties:
Analyze designs to build component-based applications in a web/internet delivery environment, including introduction of an application layer, modeling techniques, object-oriented design, complex algorithmic coding, and systematic approaches to application integration. Work on new and existing applications along with enhancements websites, web applications, and infrastructure. Provide technical expertise in server-side web presentation database programming and server-side software. Liaise with end user, research groups and other business support areas. Participate in design and technical meetings and provide technical consultation to internal business and design teams as needed.
Telecommuting permitted
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; plus 3 years of related experience. Additionally, requires three years of experience in all of the following: 1) Java; 2) JavaScript; 3) Creating, exposing and consuming RESTful services; 4) SQL (Structured Query Language); and 5) Spring Framework.
