Job Description
Quality Assurance Manager needed w/Bachelor’s degree or Foreign Equivalent in Chemical Engineering or Pharmaceutical Science or Drug Regulatory Affairs and five (5) years of progressive work experience as Quality Assurance Manager performing following job duties or Master’s degree or Foreign Equivalent in Chemical Engineering or Pharmaceutical Science or Drug Regulatory Affairs and one (1) year experience performing following job duties:
Manage, implement and coordinate quality assurance programs to prevent and eliminate defects in new and existing products. Investigate deviations from standard operating procedures, discrepancies and out of specifications results. Partner with manufacturing operations to identify and implement process improvements. Perform gap assessments of processes and implement corrective actions. Direct the operation of the QMS function, including establishment of responsibilities and goals. Evaluate and approve plant documentation to ensure compliance to GMPs, specifications and SOPs. Review batch records and release incoming packaging components. Label Material Change site requests. Responsible for monthly Decatur/Site quality metrics reporting and analysis. Trend Quality performance matrices. Maintain retained samples for all products. Annual Report Compliance and Annual Product Review process. Quality review of maintenance work orders. Host customer audits and provide responses to audit deficiencies and observations.
