Job Description
The Working Foreman/Lead will provide guidance to production team members in a team-based manufacturing environment. The Working Foreperson/Lead will analyze production performance and facilitate strategies and techniques to improve and enhance individual and team performance. The incumbent will work closely with the Production planner/scheduler, Plant MRP, Production forepersons/leads, Production supervisor /manager to address performance deficiencies and create an environment conducive to continuous learning, development, and improvement. The Working Foreperson/lead will assist with developing and implementing policies, procedures, and recommend improvements to safety, production methods, equipment, and operating procedures.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
* HS diploma or GED
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Lead experience
* Strong Microsoft computer skills along with being familiar w/SAP
* 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment
* 5S Knowledge
