CareerBuilder, LLC has an opening for Data Scientist III in Chicago, IL.
Work on technology platforms and make a tremendous impact on the overall user experience through enhancing the AI matching and recommendation products. Become an expert in datasets. Design, develop, and deploy scalable software systems and algorithms to clean and standardize raw data. Work with other teams to integrate the standardized data into their products. Measure the effectiveness of our data standardization products by continuously looking for ways to improve the products. Collaborate with and bounce ideas off other team members. Position reports to CareerBuilder, LLC headquarters at 200 N. LaSalle Street, Suite 1100, Chicago, IL 60601. Telecommuting permitted 100% of the time if residing in one of the following states: AL, AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT, DE, DC, FL, GA, ID, IN, IA, IL, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, MI, MO, MN, MS, NE, NV, NJ, NC, NH, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, WV.
Job Requirements
Position requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, and two years of relevant experience.
Also, must have academic or work experience in:
- Publications in machine learning, deep learning, and information retrieval;
- Data structures, algorithms, and software design;
- Machine learning and natural language processing or computer vision;
- Coding in at least one JVM based language including Java, Scala, or Clojure; or at least one object oriented based language including C++; and at least one scripted language including Python or Perl; and
- Hadoop ecosystem or Spark.
