POSITION SUMMARY:
The Facilities Coordinator reports to the Warehouse Manager.
Located in Bedford Park, IL.

The Facilities Coordinator will play a key role in maintaining the overall cleanliness and upkeep of our building. This includes a wide range of tasks such as cleaning designated areas, conducting routine inspections, and addressing maintenance needs. The objective is to ensure that our facility remains in a clean, organized, and well-maintained condition.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Building Cleaning and Maintenance:
Clean and supply designated building areas, which may include dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and restroom cleaning.
Perform routine inspection and maintenance activities to ensure the facility's cleanliness and safety.
Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects as assigned.
Reporting and Repairs:
Notify management of any deficiencies or repairs required in the building.
Assist supervisors or managers with major repair notifications and coordination.
Supply Room Management:
Stock and maintain supply rooms to ensure an adequate inventory of cleaning materials and supplies.
Collaboration and Safety:
Cooperate with other staff members to promote a clean and safe work environment.
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure the well-being of all occupants.
General Housekeeping:
Perform general housekeeping tasks, including picking up garbage and emptying boxes.
Keep aisles, dock, and cafeteria clean and organized.
Stack empty pallets in designated areas.

COMPETENCIES:
Demonstrates great attention to detail to maintain the facility's cleanliness and orderliness.
Proven working experience as a Janitor, with knowledge of janitorial best practices.
Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery, including forklift operation.
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and supplies used in janitorial tasks.
Maintains a strong commitment to safety, following health and safety regulations diligently.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
1 - 2 years of relevant experience in facility coordination or a related field, or equivalent Military or practical experience.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
Ability to operate forklift and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.

The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate's unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.

In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark's' benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
