Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, seeks a Territory Managerto join its industryleading sales team. You will develop, service, and manage a territory of Commercial Laundry accounts to provide timely and cost-effective textile care solutions. The position will strive to understand customer operations, identify challenges and, devise appropriate solutions to meet customer needs. With a focus on developing partnerships and exceptional relationships, the Territory Manager will provide prompt, reliable and personalized service. Further, the Territory Manager will prospect for new clients and accounts to achieve the company sales growth objectives.

What You Will Do:
Integrate knowledge of products, programs and solutions, and competition in developing plans to achieve sales objectives.
Manage individual performance results with a continuous focus on the TCD Scorecard.
Continually assess personal objectives, successes, competitive strategies, customer satisfaction and retention strategies, selling strategies, and sales and service tools.
Retain, penetrate and grow solutions within current customers in the best interest of providing a total and safe sanitation program for the customer and their clients in keeping with Ecolab's 360 of Protection.
Retain, penetrate and grow existing TCD accounts with a goal to meet/exceed sales objectives.
Gain new business through focused and targeted prospecting and continuous involvement in the marketplace. Call on key prospects regularly to make progress on new account penetration each month.
Grow sales by defining actions that upgrade current programs and create added value customers.
Effectively present "Circle the Customer - Circle the Globe" corporate business strategy through knowledge of other division's products and service capabilities.
Promote total Ecolab services to all Regional Corporate Accounts; facilitate cross-divisional selling initiatives.
Participate aggressively in the implementation of new value-added products and programs.
Work to develop strong, trusting relationships with customers.
Build contacts with customers by scheduling/coordinating/conducting business reviews to identify needs, problems and goals with a specific follow-up plan to deliver results.
Make national chain calls and submit reports with prescribed timelines.
Promote communication and growth through distributors.
Audit key accounts and identify a plan of action where required to maximize customer product quality at a use-cost effective level.
Identify/communicate to district manager regarding territory business status, new business trends and achievable sales forecasts.
Stay informed regarding changes and trends with current market information such as sales techniques, application of products in various markets, suggested marketing programs, etc., and communicate to management on a regular basis.
Maintain high Ecolab visibility at designated trade shows and professional meetings. Build marketplace relationships through involvement in associations, community organizations and other market groups.
Use all available sales, service and technology tools, including EcoNet, to obtain current information.
