Molex is looking for a Hardware Lab Electronics Technician to help develop Active Electrical Cable (AEC) products for Hyperscalers.

We are the Copper Solution Business Unit of Molex Datacom & Specialty Solutions Division. Our business is witnessing tremendous growth owing to the increasing need for cloud services and higher data transfer rates. You will be working under leadership that has been setting and driving industry standards in data centers for more than 30 years.
What You Will Do
Rework PCBA's during prototype/board-bring up stage.
Debug and troubleshoot digital and power circuits.
Work closely with Hardware Engineers and Firmware Engineers to validate designs.
Program Firmware into Microcontrollers of initial prototypes.
Perform basic Hardware and Firmware verification tests and execute test plans.
Create test and demonstration systems.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Ability to rework PCBA's: Soldering 0201 resistors/capacitors, removing and replacing small IC's, incorporating wire modifications.
Experience using general lab test equipment like DVM, Oscilloscope, Power Supplies, etc.
Experience debugging and troubleshooting PCBA's down to the component level.
Ability to integrate PCBA's, fans, heatsinks, cables and mechanical components into test and demonstration systems.
Familiarity with programing Firmware into Microcontrollers.
Ability to read and understand schematics.
What Will Put You Ahead
Ability to make more advanced HW lab measurements like Power Supply noise/ripple, Clock Jitter, etc.
Familiarity connecting and configuring switches and servers.
Familiarity using GUI's or scripts, or devices like Raspberry Pi, to automate tests and collect test data.
Ability to solder thin-gauge twinax onto PCBAs.
Ability to make general Signal Integrity measurements using VNA and TDR test equipment.
