Description:

A global technology leader that designs and develops engineered bearings and industrial motion products is looking to bring on an IT Analyst/Desktop Support Technician. This person will report to the IT Manager, who will be on site helping with training and development. They are very focused on an outgoing personality and good communication skills. The position requires in-person user support on site and the preferred technical skills include active directory, server management, hardware support/troubleshooting, and understanding of business processes in a manufacturing and corporate IT environment. The conversion salary ranges vary based on the level of experience.

TOP 3 SKILLS NEEDED:

1. Hardware troubleshooting and network equipment support (laptops, desktops, printers, workstations, etc.)

2. Software troubleshooting support: Windows OS, Active Directory, LAN/WAN and networking, IT system databases, VMware, server support.

3. Customer service and overall rapport is 60% of the job needs.

- The position requires 100% in-person user support on site, so server management is a crucial aspect of the role.

2. Degree

- Computer Science Degree or Coding Bootcamp preferred but not necessary. Open to a business degree as well.

3. Coding knowledge or experience

4. Manufacturing work environment experience

5. Vendor management

6. ITIL certification a plus

The role will involve providing in-person user support and customer service. Customer service attitude is extremely important to them.
