Job Description
Beacon Hill Legal is assisting a prominent full-service boutique firm in Chicago to add a Labor & Employment attorney to their growing practice. The ideal candidate will have both litigation and counseling experience and is interested in coming into a leadership role within the firm. This position is a fully in-office position (5x a week) however, firm offers flexibility as needed.Ideal Experience:
- 8+ years' exerience in a law firm setting;
- Experience representing clients and their employees in various matters including wage and hour, Title VII, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, and similar state laws;
- Ability to manage all phases of litigation including discovery, depositions, substantive motions, trials, and appeals;
- Significant drafting including agreements, policies, and employee handbooks;
- Counseling experience on issues related to termination, accomodtation requests, DE&I, and HR compliance;
- No portable book of business is required but an interest in business development is a plus!
- 1800 billable hour target and reaonabel bill rates;
- Marketing budget to further practice and business development interests;
