In line with our mission, we are looking to recruit a Credentialing Specialist to work in the Credentialing team. This is a remote position.

What You Will Do:

Practitioner Application Processing:

· Use critical thinking to evaluate practitioner application data for accuracy and completeness; including detailed follow-up and investigation efforts.

· Perform first round of primary source verification requests using a variety of tools including online sources and phone, or via fax/email.

· Serve as a key resource to support practitioner use of the online application tools as well as engage them to resolve pending application requirements and incomplete data.

· Prepare a first draft of application reports and review for quality and accuracy to support the next steps of the process to deliver the file to the client.

Customer Service:

· Provide quality customer support to all levels of personnel; including practitioners, practice management staff and associated administrative personnel, and internal team members.

· Demonstrate excellent phone presence and strong written communication skills to provide for an efficient application process as possible for practitioners.

· Exhibit a strong aptitude to understand and explain software systems and new processes.

· Utilize critical thinking skills to resolve support questions.

New Application Set Up:

· Process assigned new application requests within 24 hours of receipt to ensure applications are pre-populated and available for practitioner interaction to support their intended start date.

· Review completed data entry for accuracy and completeness.

· Use critical thinking and industry knowledge to identify discrepancies; and complete thorough investigations of unexpected values with diligence and resourcefulness.

· Collaborate with other team members to ensure deadlines are met.

Skills/Experience/Competencies You Will Need:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

· Relevant credentialing experience or similar administrative experience.

· Competent in the use of Microsoft software products.

· Keen Attention to detail.

· Ability to endure large volumes of data entry & information management.

· Strong time management skills especially with demanding & recurring deadlines.

· Ability to be innovative, establish priorities, and make decisions independently.

· Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.

· Driven by a team environment with a willingness to help beyond the borders of a specific tas
