Position Summary
The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an energetic individual to serve as Facilities Laborer. Under immediate supervision, this position will move furniture and equipment, assist with organizing and boxing closed case files, and perform delivery of records and files between offices throughout downstate Illinois. The position will operate various types of equipment and will assist with moves of facilities. This position provides a great opportunity for someone who is interested in helping ensure the delivery and setup of resources needed to enable our employees to do their jobs. Job Responsibilities- Serves as Facilities Laborer for Southern Region offices of DCFS
- Operates various types of equipment, such as pallet jacks, dollies, hand tools, ladders, power carts, stackers, postage meter, duplicating equipment, faxing and copying machinery, etc.
- Assists with moves of facilities
