Position Overview
The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and energetic individual to serve as Agencies & Institutions Licensing Specialist. Under general supervision, this position will conduct and/or provide input into licensing studies, investigations, and reviews of child welfare agencies, child care institutions, maternity centers, group homes, emergency shelters, and secure care facilities. This position provides a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about children and interested in playing a role in ensuring that agencies and institutions provide a safe, caring environment for children.
