Position Summary
Under direction of the Chief Administrative Law Judge, serves as Docket Supervisor/Clerk of the Administrative Hearings Unit; plans, controls, oversees, and evaluates the scheduling of appeals and maintenance of the Administrative Law Judges’ dockets; organizes goals and objectives and provides oversight of the intake and processing of all DCFS expungement, Service, Licensing, Excess Revenue, Caretaker Overpayment, and Employee Licensure appeals; serves as working supervisor; provides input into supervisory meetings; makes recommendations to the Chief Administrative Law Judge for new operating procedures or revision of existing methods related to the processing of appeals and office functions; coordinates and implements IT projects as owner of the “G†drive containing all master AHU orders and notices; maintains context integrity; develops daily, monthly, and special reports as required by management or federal court monitor.
Job Responsibilities- As Docket Supervisor/Clerk of the Administrative Hearings Unit, monitors to ensure the consistent and responsible
recording and maintenance of information involving the legal events of cases in the Administrative Hearings Unit - Serves as working supervisor
- Provides input into supervisory meetings
- Coordinates and implements IT projects as owner of the “G†drive containing all master AHU orders and notices
- Plans and coordinates in-service training for new employees
- Develops daily, monthly, and special reports as required by management or federal court monitor, including highly
technical reports using Department systems - Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated
