Position Overview
The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results oriented individual to serve as Agencies and Institutions Licensing Supervisor. Under administrative direction, this position plans, supervises, reviews, and coordinates the activities of a team of professional staff engaged in providing licensing services, including licensing studies, investigations, and reviews of child welfare agencies and institutions. The position provides oversight of professional staff and makes recommendations to upper management regarding licensing and renewal studies for new and existing agencies. This position provides a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about children and interested in being a leader in the administration of agency monitoring services to ensure agencies and facilities adhere to all appropriate licensing requirements to keep children safe.
