Role/ Department: Talent Management Analytics Lead, HR Workforce Analytics/HR Data Analytics

At Northern Trust, data drives all of our decision-making and HR is no exception. The HR Workforce Analytics team pioneers Northern Trust's approach to talent strategy and organizational growth. As a member of the team, this position will play an important role in helping our Talent Management and Talent Acquisition departments leverage vast troves of data to generate insights and inform decisioning-making for internal clients across the globe.

We're looking for an experienced analytics leader who has a strong problem-solving approach to lead the design and co-creation of data tools and products, while also having excellent written and verbal communication skills for designing influential story-telling artifacts. The role demands an innovative mindset in order to tackle complex client challenges, as well as a leader who thrives in an environment that embraces collaboration cross-functionally to scope, plan and execute projects on time.

The key responsibilities of the role include:
Consulting: Proactively communicate and collaborate with clients to ensure their core needs are addressed and implemented across internal business intelligence solutions and reporting artifacts
Product Co-Creation: Partner with Data Engineers to scope, conduct, and deliver data projects needed to support the Talent Management and Talent Acquisition functions while driving strategy and enhancements to key products
Transformation: Help Talent Management and Talent Acquisition to enhance their analytics vision, strategy, operating model, roadmap, and business cases
Technology: Assess current state data and technology objectives and help select, design, deploy and optimize the department's data architecture and technology solutions
Driving Culture: Transform HR into a data-driven culture by executing a plan to maximize self-service analytics capabilities
Education: Share learnings and insights gathered from consulting work through executive briefings, internal portals, and collaboration forums

Skills/Qualifications:
5+ years of demonstrable and practical experience in the Data and Analytics domain
5+ years of experience as a consulting leader involved in stakeholder management, relationship development and delivery of client work
3+ years in utilizing data science tools such as Python, R, Spark, and SQL
Experience developing data-driven presentations and delivering them to large audiences
Experience designing and implementing reporting solutions with strong data visualization skills
Self-starter looking to develop and apply analytical frameworks to help solve complex open-ended business questions with relevant data
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field...
