Join Mars Global Services (MGS), the global shared services division of Mars Inc, as the Communication and Translations Manager. In this role, You will lead the implementation of strategies to automate and manage digitally-enabled communications and translation processes for our People & Organization (P&O / Human Resources) division. You'll collaborate closely with technology teams to implement AI-driven solutions, ensuring robust governance, development, execution, and stakeholder engagement in communication and linguistic translation efforts for our P&O communications globally. Additionally, you will expand our language portfolio using automated tools and align MGS P&O communications with strategic objectives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness globally. This pivotal position will empower you to drive quality and innovation in Mars Global Services' global communication and translation processes.
What we're looking for?
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent; preferably in human resources, communications, information management, library science, business, or a relevant field; advanced degree in communications, linguistics, information technology, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience including HR Portal and/or intranet implementation, particularly employee-facing portal initiatives and communications.
- Proven experience in communication and translation management within a global organization, focusing on automation and AI technologies.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of leading complex initiatives.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Analytical skills to drive data-informed strategies.
- Knowledge of communication governance frameworks.
- Multilingual proficiency preferred with fluency in English.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Develop and Implement Communication and Translation Strategy:
- Create and execute a comprehensive strategy for automating translations across all service channels (Voice, Chat, Search).
- Innovate and drive transformation in the translation and communication space, focusing on automation and efficiency.
Stakeholder and Governance Management:
- Engage with key stakeholders to align translation and communication strategies with business goals.
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks to ensure the quality and consistency of translations.
Collaboration and Requirement Documentation:
- Develop detailed requirements for automated translation processes and tools.
- Collaborate with technology teams to select, pilot, and implement automated translation solutions.
Execution and Training:
- Work with Centers of Excellence and P&O leaders to manage and translate relevant P&O communications.
- Provide training and support for new translation tools and processes, ensuring smooth adoption and implementation.
- Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality, on-time, and on-budget translations
- Ensure high-quality translations from external vendors.
