Event Product Marketing Manager

Job Description

Leverage knowledge of webinar & virtual/hybrid event management and marketing principles and will conduct the best-in-class ways to market the Company’s Webinar and Event Management platform and spread awareness of such service offerings. Will also lead the end-to-end project management activities for the Webinar/Event Management feature of the Company’s product line and ensure proper execution of the Company’s live and pre-recorded webinars & events so that they operate properly and meet marketing requirements. Specific duties include:

 

  • Conduct market research in the event industry and analyze customer surveys regarding feedback in the Company’s Webinar/Event Management product to establish best ways to market the Company’s product and solutions as well as its functionality.
  • Work with Product Documentation Specialist on identifying justifications for event products, and work alongside the marketing team to establish proper communication about products in monthly newsletters.
  • Support sales team in answering event product-related questions and conduct presentations and demonstrations of the events product feature.
  • Interact with sales, account management, product, and marketing teams on evaluating the demands and needs of current clients and prospects who will use the Webinar/Event Management solutions.
  • Work on platform Information Architecture strategic projects to ensure customers’ needs are met within the Webinar/Event Management solution.
  • Utilize Hubspot to pull reports and analyze data related to sales and marketing activities, and advise management on ways to improve efficiency.
  • May work remotely from any U.S. location up to 100% of the work week.

 

Minimum requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Event Management, Marketing, or closely related field, plus one (1) year of post-baccalaureate experience working within Event and Webinar Management product solutions and improving its overall functionality. Experience must include, which may be gained concurrently:

 

  • 1 year of experience working with sales and marketing teams to create and present marketing proposals to operations, management, marketing, and sales teams for event and webinar management technology;
  • 1 year of experience identifying user experience (UX) personas to understand target market needs and make product design decisions accordingly with developers;
  • 1 year of experience working on product user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) using tools, including FIGMA; and
  • 1 year of experience generating social media content for event and webinar management products.

 

Job site: 223 West Erie Street, Suite 4E, Chicago, IL 60654. 40 hours per week, 9:00am to 6:00pm.
