Overview

Expected pay for this position is $52.66 - $69.77/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Director Cancer Institute Operations is responsible for communicating, implementing, and monitoring the strategic objectives of the service line. The Director supports the Cancer Institute in achieving goals for strategic growth, patient experience, Mission Partner engagement, and financial performance. Directs transformational projects and advances Cancer Institute services across the continuum of care. This includes strategic planning, performance improvement, coordination, integration, and optimization of care provided at OSF hospitals, ambulatory care sites, homecare services, physician practices, and primary care practices.
Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business-related field
Experience:
3 years leadership experience
5 years' experience in oncology with progressive increases in responsibility within the field
Licensure/ Certification: N/A
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
Exhibited leadership skills and executive presence with a history of effective team formation.
Analytical abilities necessary in order to evaluate patient care delivery systems and results; respond to problems by identifying and implementing appropriate corrective action; develop and administer sound policies, procedures, and budgets; and organize and oversee work of subordinates.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Master's degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business-related field
Experience:
Leading, managing and directing multiple complex internal and/or external interdisciplinary projects that include healthcare providers, executives and other professional or non-professional personnel.
Experience utilizing Performance Improvement and Change Management tools and methodologies.
Licensure/ Certification:
Oncology and/or leadership certification.
RN-Registered Nurse
Other Skills/ Knowledge:
Membership in a professional organization
