Description: CNC Machinist - SG
Skills: Qualifications: •Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T tolerances and part specifications. •Ability to setup and operate CNC/Manual Lathe and/or Milling machines. •Ability to create (will train) and edit CNC programs. •Knowledge of appropriate speeds and feeds for a variety of materials and tools. •Ability to load and operate overhead cranes. •Ability to use standard measuring tools; micrometers, calipers, diameter tapes, etc. •Ability to support the principles of employee ownership, with a strong work ethic.
Duties: Job Description: •Work from blueprints, specifications and/or instructions to rough turn and finish large parts to tolerance. •Setup and operation involves reviewing CNC program and blueprints, editing programs, verifying speeds and feeds for tooling; operating machine to produce quality parts on time. •Setup and operate multiple machines, maximizing productivity. •Work in cooperation with all employee owners to sustain a strong team atmosphere. Support and participate in Lean, 5S and TPM processes. •Maintain equipment and work area in a clean or orderly condition. Support company safety practices and follow standard safety regulations. •Perform other and related duties as assigned, directed or within the scope of overall responsibility.
