Job Description
Position Highlights:
Position: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Stroke - Outpat
Location: Skokie, IL
Part Time - 24 hours
In collaboration with the attending physician:
Formulates the appropriate differential diagnosis based on history, physical examination and clinical findings
Identifies needs of the individual, family or community as a result of the evaluation of the collected data
Obtains a relevant health and medical history
Performs a physical examination based on age and history
Conducts preventative screening procedures based on age and history
Identifies medical and health risks and needs
Updates and records all changes in health status
Formulates the appropriate differential diagnosis based on history, physical examination and clinical findings
Identifies needs of the individual, family or community as a result of the evaluation of the collected data
The nurse practitioner facilitates client participation medical and health care by providing information needed to make decisions and choices about the:
The nurse practitioner provides educational opportunities for the individual and/or family related to health status, utilizing additional resources when indicated.
What you will need:
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
IL Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license or pending
Valid DEA certificate
