Description:

The Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Clinical Education. This position requires the ability to enter written information about health sciences fieldwork training agreements with placement sites internal and external to UIC into relevant databases. This position supports the Director of Clinical Education with data entry. This position requires attention to detail and high accuracy. A commitment to human diversity and a client-centered, teamwork attitude is required, as well as a general comfort and facility with using online software tracking software systems.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up to date fieldwork placement student information for all college educational programs.
Manage a database of clinical affiliation agreements pertinent to all aspects of programs.
Provide a large-scale data cross-checking, data auditing and data entry projects.
Maintain interfaces with campus (Contract +) and college software platforms from the initial request processing request to full contract execution.
Maintain transparency of contract progression.
Monitor Technical accuracy of Software Systems. Work with technical support.
Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Education to manage a database of clinical affiliation agreements for all aspects of fieldwork practice. Maintain all documents pertinent to student affiliation agreement process. Notify all educational programs of fully executed agreements upon completion of processing.
Participate in clinical education college meetings. Discuss process improvements relative to student fieldwork experiences.
Analyze best practices within each program to optimize the clinical placement experience for students. Gather data on turnaround times for timely contract processing pertinent to fieldwork placement
Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

Bachelor's degree.
Lean Six Sigma certification Preferred Qualifications:

Data entry experience in an academic or healthcare environment.
General experience using academic and/or healthcare systems software platforms.
Proven attention-to-detail and accuracy with data entry skills
Proven experience and ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
