Job Description
Job Duties: Develop detailed, complex plans to conduct software tests to confirm functionality and adherence to business requirements, functional specification documents, and design documents. Design and create software tests and cases to address areas database impact and software scenarios using unit testing, integration testing, system testing, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, and/or user acceptance testing. Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems. Define pass /fail criteria for test cases. Prioritize and isolate pre- and post-implementation issues for resolution. Create metrics and test results for all testing conducted. Create or maintain databases of known test defects.
Requirements: Bachelor's or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), IT, Management Information Systems or related and 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a/an software designer, developer, analyst, tester, or related. Position is based out of 55 W. Monroe Street, Suite 1200, Chicago, IL 60603, and may require relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the United States.
