Job Description
Job Duties: Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations. Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems. Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware. Configure, monitor, and maintain software applications and operating environments. Monitor logs and reports to maintain the performance of computer systems and networks, determine whether adjustments need to be made, and determine where changes will need to be made in the future. Design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software. Confer with developers and users about to understand and solve existing system problems.
Requirements: Bachelor's or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), IT, Management Information Systems, or related and 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a/an software designer, developer, analyst, tester, or related. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience not less than the primary requirements. Position is based out of 55 W. Monroe Street, Suite 1200, Chicago, IL 60603, and may require relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the United States.
