Job Description
Job Duties: Develop, create, and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions. Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. Create detailed design documents (model or diagrams or flowcharts) that show the software code needed for an application. Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Ensure programs function normally through software maintenance and testing. Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.
Requirements: Bachelor's or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), IT, Management Information Systems or related and 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a/an software designer, developer, analyst, tester, or related. Position is based out of 55 W. Monroe Street, Suite 1200, Chicago, IL, and may require relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the United States.
